DPAMS - About Us

The DOLE CALABARZON Planning Unit functions as a vital oversight body dedicated to the efficient and effective implementation of DOLE's programs and projects. Their activities span technical and administrative support, project proposal screening, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, and compliance assurance.

Key functions:

Technical and Administrative Support: Providing essential support to the Program Managers (PM) to facilitate smooth project execution.
Project Proposal Management: Screening proposals for completeness, preparing briefs, and routing them for evaluation.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly tracking project status, including industry closures and retrenchments, to ensure objectives are met and resources are properly utilized.
Capacity Building: Planning and implementing initiatives to strengthen DOLE’s institutional capabilities.
Reporting: Preparing comprehensive reports on project progress, fund utilization, and performance.
Database Management: Developing and maintaining a centralized database of all project documents and records.
Spot Audits: Conducting audits to verify compliance and proper implementation.
Monitoring and Control Mechanisms: Establishing internal controls at all operational levels to promote accountability and transparency.
Statistical Performance Reporting System (SPRS): Implementing SPRS to collect, analyze, and report statistical data for better decision-making and accountability.

This structured approach ensures that resources are optimally utilized, programs are aligned with national and regional goals, and accountability is maintained at every level.
